Anyone know where on Sanders these people live? It's getting to close to home. Last spring someone in our subdivision was arrested for growing marijuana...two miles from W. Johnston High.

    ========================

3 Arrested On Drug Charges In Johnston, Wake Counties - Three people are facing drug charges after narcotic agents searched homes in Johnston and Wake counties on Monday night. Johnston County deputies searched the home of Michael Lambert (right) on Sanders Road and reportedly seized marijuana. Two women at the home, Amber Lauren Bridges (left) and Melissa Ann Hall (center), both of Benson, were arrested. Agents received a tip Lambert was at a residence on Old Garner Road in Wake County . Wake County authorities reportedly seized cocaine and marijuana with a street value of $2,300 during his arrest, according to Tammy Amaon, a spokesperson for the Johnston County Sheriff's Office.

Not listed on Anywho.com, either. If I'm understanding the article correctly, it's a Benson address, so it has to be east of Saddle Ridge. If you look at the ZIP code map, the division between 27504 and 27592 is a tiny little stream that crosses Sanders Rd. at the dip between BH Parrish & Saddle Ridge.

Oh crap...I don't wanna read this.

I live off of Sanders...I have a Benson mailing address but its consider Greater Cleveland. I am also 2 miles from the school (HS)

Interesting that I am reading this because I just got a letter from a resident in our subdivision to warn us that there is someone that is vandalizing there home, bb pellets on there property, cars, stealing money from their cars, etc. Its crazy.

We just moved into this area and it seems so nice and peaceful now I am afraid to be left alone in my house with my kids.

There are idiots in every area - rich or poor, old and young. The beautiful thing is that the wonderful people far out number the very limited count of thoughtless trouble makers. This is a wonderful area to live in. If I didn't believe so - my family wouldn't be living here. I could be wrong - but my bet is that you have good neighbors who are usually looking out for you, your kids and other neighbors (even if they don't want to admit doing so for fear of being called a busy body) ... and hopefully you would do the same for them. Overall this ares is nice & peaceful. Don't let a couple of bad apples ruin the entire area for you.

However, it never hurts to keep your car doors locked. Even if someone is looking to break in - that doesn't mean they are from this area - but you definately don't want to be an easy target if someone is actually taking money and other things from cars in your neighborhood.

The neighbor does have a suspect but were looking for more evidences to make it tight. i am curious if we are talking about the same people here. I don't mind looking out for others and I hope they do the same...trust me..we do lock our cars...we are originally from Jersey/philly. LOL

No, I'm sorry, I jumped to a wrong conclusion and made a comment without thinking about it. Everybody makes some errors in spelling and grammar, and some typos, don't worry about it. We're all human, and I do apologize if I have thoughtlessly hurt your feelings.

    Have a great day! :)

oh no...my feelings weren't hurt. I am just new to the group and learning who is who in here. Sometimes I get thrown out of the loop cause I am not sure who is joking, some can be sarcastic, or just right down rude. LOL.

    But no harm done

I like to put a picture under my name on the left hand side...How do I go about doing that?

P.S. is there anyone that i need to stay clear from .LOL

Sadly ... I found out where this person lives ... to close to me!

279 Sanders Rd. ... 3 houses from intersection of Creekstone and Sanders Rd. ... heading towards Raleigh Rd. It is the 3rd house on the right.

This is VERY close to the kid living on Creekstone who was arrested in the spring! Maybe they are friends!

I suspected it was this guy. He drove like an IDIOT! Twice I observed him driving his work vehicle wrecklessly nearly causing head on accidents. Once he passed a line of cars on Raleigh Rd. in a no-passing zone and nearly hit a Progress Energy Truck head on. The second time ... he went around us at the stop sign as we waited to turn from Sanders to Raleigh Rd...he did not even look for on-coming traffic.

Hope the sheriff keeps him for a long while!!!

Does the county have authority to take his house since he used it for illegal activity? I wondered that about the house in Creekstone but the owner (dad of the kid) currently has it for sale.

Under $3K in drugs - he won't be in the pokey more than 24 hours...all he has to do is see the judge and make bail and he's back at home.

I've been to court (to testify against some naughty folks) you would be so stunned to see people with rap sheets that you could hold over your head and they touched the floor - get a slap on the hands, a fine and turned back out. The jails are too crowded...when they turn a convicted RAPIST loose after only serving 2.5 yrs of a 10 yr. term, you can't expect the dude down the road with a pound of grass is going to be behind bars much longer than the average case of heartburn.

**BTW - I'm aware of what the law says and penalties that "may" be imposed...fact is there isn't enough room at the inn for every person with a pound of marijuana. They may give him time, but you can bet it will be a suspended sentence.
