The child fell from the lap of an adult driving a riding lawnmower off of West 3rd Street. The mower ran over the child. The boy died en route to the hospital. No charges have been filed. The incident remains under investigation.
I agree. It's a totally senseless and preventable accident. Someone in our neighborhood does this with his 2 year old and he should know better given the profession he is in!
