There are signs on Cornwallis Rd. that a 4-way stop is coming in. Does anyone have anymore details? I assume it is at Cornwallis and N. Shiloh. Will there be a red-flashing light? Or just the 4-way stop signs?

I heard it's going to be a 4-way stop sign at Josephine and Cornwallis.

They need lights on Mclemore and Cleveland School road. Always having a hard time to turn there.

I have no choice on Tuesday evenings when I have to take the girls to dance. And the nerve of people that is behind me honking their horns to push me to turn.

Hmmm. You know the horn honking always breaks my concentration, and makes me sit longer to plan out my entry into traffic. <evil grin>

Tell me about it.....I am not risking my kids' lives for their impatience.

You know there are going to be a lot of rear-enders once they put in that 4 way stop signs. Coming from 1010 down Cornwallis, by the time you go around the bend downhill you will be crashing into cars at the stop sign. I can see it already. Such a blind spot to be putting in some stop signs even though it is desperately needed.

You're going to think I'm weird, but when we lived on McLemore I always found it quicker, for reasons unknown, to go down by the FD & DR Wells. I'd get out there and people that were in front of me on McLemore would still be waiting to pull out

Your not weird......and I have thought about doing that...not sure why I didn't but I am gonna start doing that on Tuesdays when I take the girls to dance.

Just 2 weeks ago there was an accident at that corner.

I think it's quicker, because that curve is closer to you making the traffic visible, and you are a part of the traffc turning onto 1010 that mucks it up for McLemore. I have luck with Allen Rd sometimes, too.

  13. Wasn't there a real bad accident there last year when a woman didn't stop when she was crossing over Cornwallis. She ended up dying

HA! That cracked me up! Some people may actually need 39 stop sign warning signs!

I'll need my first warning sign when I turn onto Cornwallis from 1010! Remind myself not to speed up going down that hill and around that bend. Who knows how long the stop sign traffic might be?

They need to put a traffic light at the intersection of Cornwallis/Josephine and @ 1010/McLemore. People already run the stop signs on Josephine, so a 4 way won't help.
