My DH 4 wheeler was stolen yesterday in broad daylight. It was a 2005 polaris sportsman 800 50th anniversary addition. I have already posted this in neighborhood but i wanted to post here as well. We are offering a 500.00 reward for any information leading to the return of the 4 wheeler. PLEASE pm me with anything! We live in the cleveland School area.

I know these people well. It's bad to know that someone can go into a yard in the middle of the day and just take something that big. It would be great if they were able to get it back. They live just off Cleveland School Rd here in the 4042 area. If anyone hears anything about it please let them know. Or you can PM me as well and I can call them with any info.

Was it in a shelter, barn, garage or what? Just curious.

it was behind our barn so you could not see it from the road! I know the person that stole it had to know we had one. Just makes me sick because home owners WILL NOT cover it!

Whew...I'm parking mine in the garage and keeping the garage door closed ....

Hope you find your 4-wheeler and the culprits get caught. I'll keep my :allears: open to see if I hear of anyone bragging about a new toy.

    What lowlifes

If you dont have a seperate insurance policy for your 4 wheeler you may want to think about it. We checked into it around feb and kept putting it off now we are screwed.

This is a PRIME example of why you need insurance on your ATV. It's only about $125 a year.

FYI, for anyone who may be in the Garner area, my DH's bossman thought he saw the four wheeler yesterday about 5ish on 70 at the light at the ABC store. Reason he thinks may be it cause the rims are chrome and unusual for a four wheeler. It was in the back of a truck. Don't know if it was it, but seemed to match the description.

Don't forget www.atvnc.com as well. Chrome rims are very common on ATV's.

Sheriff's Office Recovered $50,000 In Stolen Property

(L to R) Sheriff Steve Bizzell, Detective Phillip Edwards, Detective Lt. Tommy Beasley, and Captain Buck Pipkin display some of the more than $50,000 in stolen property recovered by the Johnston County Sheriff's Office. WTSB Photo

Johnston County Sheriff Steve Bizzell announced Thursday the recovery of approximately $50,000 worth of stolen property taken in break-ins during the past two months from locations in southern Johnston County. Sheriff’s investigators received a tip Wednesday afternoon that led them to two locations where the stolen property was located. Among the items recovered were three utility trailers, a four wheeler, two riding lawnmowers, welders, a generator, air compressor, chainsaws, and six firearms. Sheriff Bizzell said the investigation into the stolen property was still ongoing. Authorities said charges in the case are likely.

Probably a long shot BUT i thought i would share this incase some else had anything stolen.
