Just an update for those that registered in our contest over the past few weeks for the Nintendo Wii game system we are giving away. Contest Background Info: ------------------------ Beginning with the Strawberry Festival, we handed out tickets which required each person to register their unique number online at 4042.com. Tickets were also distributed at the Smithfield Ham & Yam Festival, and the Business Expo in Benson. Contest participants had to register their ticket by 11:49pm on May 14th. At that time, the online registration form was shut down. The numbers: ------------- Approximately 1,500 tickets were distributed which resulted in 539 valid online registrations. Winner selected: --------------- Today, May 15th, a winner was randomly selected from those that properly registered online. Per the rules, they have been notified by e-mail and we are waiting on their response. If no response is received within 24 hours, then the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be randomly selected. Once the winner is confirmed, we will post that information and hopefully a picture of the smiling recipient of the Nintendo Wii! 8)

We have not had a response, so, per the posted rules for the contest at time of registration, the prize has been forfeited. Sorry! An alternate winner has been selected and notification has been sent. They have 24hrs to respond and claim the prize.

Update!! We have a winner!! We have received the response from the lastest ticket that was randomly drawn and our winner of the Nintendo Wii is Camille from Garner, NC!
