I noticed recently that there was a lot of survey work done on the Southern side of 42 between Walmart and Cornwallis. Looks almost like they are planning to widen the road on that side. Has anyone else noticed this? There are 3 markers placed about 8-10 feet apart about 15 feet from the shoulder. The markers are about every 50-100 feet along the side of the road. Map here Any ideas what this might be for?
There are plans for a Sheets at that intersection, my guess is they are widening the road. I am so ready to move away from Cornwallis road
