On the upper left hand corner in dark blue box; click on Fundraising Events and select RDU: Freedom Ride August 15th. This year the event will take place at Ray Price Harley Davidson/Buell on South Saunders Street. Ray Price is a huge supporter of the USO. :hurray:
I rec'd a private email and thought it might be something someone else out there might have wanted to ask about.... If there are any businesses out there who might want to donate items to the auction which will take place also on the day of the Freedom Ride, please feel free to contact Erin at the Center and make the arrangements. Your donations are tax deductible.
I've changed my avatar to a pic of one of the many bikes we had at the 2007 Freedom Ride which was hosted by the Iron Horse Bar in Apex. I think that was our best Freedom Ride to date. (at least is was the most fun, that's fer sure)
The USO has received their supply of posters for the 4th Annual Freedom Ride for Saturday, August 15th to be held at Ray Price Harley Davidson-Buell. Any businesses which would like to display a poster at their location may contact the USO at RDU and they will make arrangements to get you those posters. I will be volunteering at the USO this evening if anyone would like me to pick up posters on their behalf and deliver them to you.
