Does anyone know what happened to their Chief? I noticed the sign out front said to pray for him or her. In Feb. they responded to a call for my son, and they were wonderful. One of the men even showed up to the call on his day off because he was near by. I wish I had gotten all of their names, they were all so nice and helpful.

I have been wondering that myself. I noticed the sign one morning after taking my daughter to school.

The fire chief has been diagnosed with 2 inoperable brain tumors. I think they are planning to do some sort of treatments on him at Duke/Chapel Hill. I hope I got that part right.

Please pray for Chief Parrish. He is a good man. In fact, all the 50/210 fire fighters and the 50/210 EMS are good people.

Thank you for the information, Michelle. I had to call them to come here a couple of years ago when my husband was sick, and they were wonderful. Sorry I don't know the names of the ones who came, but I have heard only good things about that department. I will keep Chief Parrish in my prayers.

    Just a quick update . . .

We found out last night that they ARE going to be able to operate on the chief's tumors. He has an appt. today to discuss the operation. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Just one more situation that proves that prayer works!!!
