Could I get more info please? My son is 8 1/2, wants to do baseball in the fall for GCAA, is that what this is? He hasn't done baseball before, is this what he should do, for beginners? Or is this what challenge is for soccer? He's doing a very easy, small league right now through the Y, and he's actually pretty good, but hasn't done a "real" league yet so curious to see how he does. Also, I'm assuming he'll be in U9. And where does the travel team travel to? Is it local, or are we talking to places like Wilmington, Greensboro, places like that? Sorry for so many questions, we've always done soccer in the past! :mrgreen:

If you are looking for beginning skill level, check out the GCAA website at gcaasports.com The Wildcats Travel team travels to Goldsboro, Rocky Mount, and Wake Forest. If your son has advanced Baseball Skills and would like to try out, have him come out to the Tryouts on July 15th.

Would you recruit a player from other travel baseball team? I know one of our players want to play more and wondering if that can be allowed? His team travels mostly to Goldsboro once or twice a month for Top Gun games.
