The dealers (parents) in these drugs seem to have the right approach.

    Amen to that

I love the article. If parents could get on their children these days like back in those days we may not have as much problem with them. I belive that kids need a good butt woopin sometimes just to show them that we mean business, come on nothing else works as far as restriction or taking items that they love away. I know there are alot of people that abuse children but a good butt woopin is diffrent. Someone that thinks diffrent should live with my teen for one day.

I loved the article and printed it out for my kids read! Thanks for sharing it, Kent. There is certainly a difference in the children of today compared to the children of yesteryear. (is that even a word?) I feel kinda sorry for the youth of today. When they are grown adults, responsible for their own lives, many of them will either be depressed or who knows what else...jailed? As they will actually have to work and take responsibility for all their actions. Most will certainly have a sense of entitlement that will not be fulfilled. The parents who give their children money, cars, games, name brand clothing, etc, but not quality time or discipline are doing a huge injustice to their children. It is so very sad in MHO.

As an additional note, if the kids of today actually worked to recieve all the aforementioned material things, there would not be such a sense of entitlement. Don't get me wrong, there are some great parents out there doing an awesome job, sadly, IMO, it is not the majority.

You got that right sista. I started working when I was 13 (not getting paid) and then when I could get my workers permit (do they even have that anymore) I went to work, and haven't stopped since. Well I was unemployed twice. :?
