If it is U4 or U6, you can pretty much get the cheapest thing you can find because no one at that age is doing the kind of running and cutting or stopping on a dime to make a turn that will require really good cleats. No need to go out and spend anything more than $25-$30 on them if it is in those age groups.

Good will store in Clayton & or similar store if FV. We were lucky and found a brand new pair of Nike soccer shoes, never worn for $2.

Ditto this!! Also check with other parents. What size are you looking for? My kids are 12 and 14 and I probably have 10-15 pairs of soccer/softball shoe hiding in the closet. :)

What size are you needing? I have a nice pair of Adidas. I think they are little boys size 1.

Ditto on the local thrift stores

for only $1.00 or $2.00 you can find Nealy New soccer shoes - every brand under the sun.

I have stocked up on soccer cleats for DS when ever I have spotted a great pair at a super good price in the next few sizes. He's growing FAST!

You don't have a toddler 8 by any chance? I've looked everywhere and can't find this size!
