Tinsel Town... a magical winter wonderland complete with beautifully decorated trees, weekend visits with Santa, holiday music, tasty treats, and an outdoor ice skating rink! Families will have the opportunity to skate on the ice rink, visit with Santa, sip on hot cocoa, munch on holiday treats that include soup bread bowls from Great Harvest Bread, and meander through decorated holiday trees!
Tinsel Town will be open daily (beginning on November 23rd) until December 31st, with the exception of Christmas Day.
    Hours
    Mon-Thur: 4 to 9pm | Fri: 4 to 10pm | Sat: 2 to 10pm | Sun: 12 to 6pm

That's sweet! Even sweeter, "There is no cost to enter Tinsel Town. However, charges will apply to those who choose to ice skate." Concerts there are crazy high priced so the FREE came as a shock!

They have an ice skating rink behind the Starbucks at North Hills too. My sister and I got to watch some young ice team practice for a christmas show Sunday morning, while sipping yummy coffee and sitting in the warm sunshine....I am sure they have som kind of entertainment lined up through-out the season for shoppers. Neat-O.

Looks like Walnut & Andys are not having the light show this year or ever again. I guess the Meadows, Lights on the Neuse & Tinsel Town are the only places to go to see lights. Nay other suggestions?
