I saw this on 60 minutes last Sunday and was fascinated by the clip.

Folks going about their daily lives in a major city.

    I don't think I saw a soul without a hat.

In just a short time, most of it will be rubble and many of them probably dead or injured.

I saw that too - it was very interesting. People drove about as crazy then and they do now, lol!

Very cool! So many people coming and going. People on bicycles passing moving cars, pedestrians crossing the street randomly, several police officers (keeping an eye on traffic?), saw some people out shoveling manure off the road, people running alongside cars - or even past them - men wearing hats and coats, women in long dresses and petticoats ... as many horse-drawn carriages as vehicles.
    Worth watching -thanks!!

That is some of the most haunting film I've ever seen, almost like watching ghosts in broad daylight.

I did notice that the early cars had the steering wheels on the right-hand side...wonder when that switched?

    Great stuff.
