http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,316580,00.html Suggestive pink Santa panties targeting young girls are being removed from Wal-Mart stores after parents objected to the offensive undergarments. The panties, which were sold in the juniors department, seemed to suggest that girls don't need money, they just need a sugar daddy — in this case Santa Claus.
Oh good Lord, don't people have bigger things to worry about? If the drawers offend you then don't buy them! I personally think they are cute and I would have no problem buying my 15 yr. old daughter a pair.
Am I to understand that you have no problem giving your fifteen year-old daughter an item of clothing that implies she's a prostitute, or at least is willing to trade sex for presents?
Hey somebody should get Lynn a pair of those. I agree with Michelle. I see nothing bad about it at all. Just holiday humor.
How in the hell does anyone get the thoughts of trading sex for presents from these things? People need to pull their mind outta the gutter and spend more time on teaching kids what is right what is wrong instead of whining about some stupid crap like this. GET A LIFE PEOPLE Craig
Well said Craig. I think people have too much time on their hands and worry over the smallest things. I've seen shirts for kids that say "Who needs Santa? I've got Grandma". Does that mean Grandma is a ho?
Well, if the saying were on a billboard, then the thought wouldn't have crossed my mind. But the fact that they were on the crotch of a pair of girls underwear could be a huge clue. What puzzles me is that y'all don't see the issue. Think about it for a minute. Who is going to see this cute little saying? The child, of course. Perhaps the child's mother. Maybe even the child's doctor. Now, why put this cute saying on a piece of clothing that no one (except the three people above) should see? If it's so cute and innocent, why put it on the crotch of underwear? Why not on the tops of a pair of jammies? And then next week you will all be here discussing how some child got molested and wonder why it happened.
Oh lordy, I have to stay out of this one. I like the boy shorts that say S E X Y across the hiney. (not for a 12 yr old) I've always wanted a pair, maybe one of you could bring me a pr at the 4042 Christmas Exchange?
It's not an issue. Seems some OLD farts have dirty minds. I would have NEVER thought of it meaning they needed Sugar Daddys. Its just plain stupid!
Not the point Clif they are panties!!!!!!!! Who is gonna see them? Hell they could say a million served who cares!
I simply do not understand why y'all cannot see the difference. I used to have a pair of briefs that said "Home of the Whopper", but I was an adult who received them from an adult. I certainly would not condone a child to either own a pair, nor give the pair as a gift. The issue is not in and of itself the these panties have cute sayings on them. I agree that the quotes are cute, and if they were on panties for an adult, I wouldn't have said word one. The issue is who these panties are marketed to with these sayings on them, and specifically michelle's comment that she thought they were appropriate for a fifteen year-old girl to wear. They are being marketed to children. Don't y'all see the issue with a comment about money being printed on the crotch of a child's underwear?
