    does anyone know a good and affordable ac mechanic. My AC system has a lot of ice around it and is barely blowing cool air.

    If you have ice build up you need to cut the system off and let it thaw out. It should work fine after that.

    Our ac did that same thing. The above advice worked for us!!

    Ditto. Don't waste your money on a technician until you try thawing it out (completely) first.
