5 parachutes flying 1000 feet or less. they flew 3-4 hours sunday evening. am I the only one?

 

we saw them around 5:00...hubby had his binoculars out and the kids were watching them!

5 of them sounds like a lot. I hope these folks know what they are doing.

 

Home-built kits assembled with poles, a nylon canopy and a souped up lawn mower engine flying a couple thousand feet off the ground sounds like somebody that better know what they're doing. Actually, the adventure sounds fun. Its the notion of falling to your death that ruins it for me.

we saw 5 ultralights or paraplanes late yesterday afternoon, near the 40/42 intersection. 8)

 

I saw little green men jumping out of a big fish shaped flying object. Luckily I came here and my fears were put to rest.
