does anybody know how much airbag replacement in a 2004 honda accord would run. In searching the internet I am getting ranges from $275 to $2200. I am on vacation in CT and my friend had an accident...in my car...after dropping me off at the airport. It has been frustrating dealing with all the insurance stuff from this far away.
Price-wise, your best bet is to get one (or however many you need) from a junk yard. You just need to be careful on the install. Make sure to unhook the battery and reset the senor, or else the airbag could deploy while you're installing it. You could also price out the cost of having it professionally installed, using the unit from the junk yard. Should still save you considerably over taking it to the dealership.
Sorry I know that they are expencive . Usualy running from 100 - 3,000 dollars. But I get my airbag replaced every time my Wife gets in the car. LOL. I guess another term for back seat drivers. OHHH . yup I said that.
