I must've actually been getting some work done because I totally missed this internet phenomena. I think I did hear a blurb about it on the Today show but couldn't imagine something this bad. And for all of you who also missed it its hilarious. An soon to be grad at Yale who had the most hilarious video resume. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AExtO-dD8so Turns out was he not only overstating but there's a lot of inconsistencies in the video. -The bricks in the brick-breaking scene all break cleanly. -He bows Kung Fu style while wearing a Tae Kwon Do uniform. - You can't even tell its him in the skiing scene. - He doesn't dance well He also has claimed to people that -he is one of four people in Conneticut able to handle nuclear waste. -He is proficient in eastern healing. -He was raised by Tibetan monks -Has killed two dozen people in fights. -Was in the CIA, Mafia etc. Here's his resume: http://www.ivygateblog.com/images/vayner.pdf His charity is a fake and on and on. And then there's the response video by the kid from Arrested Development http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAV0sxwx9rY Here's my favorite punch taken at him: Me - I miss Aleksey. He's a fine man, a brilliant lover, and a great humanitarian. The true Aleksey he abashedly keeps hidden from the world. Why, when we were on the International Space Station together, he singlehandedly saved the crew complement by reconfiguring his respiratory system at the genetic level. He proceeded to inhale carbon dioxide, and exhale pure fresh oxygen. Saving the lot of us. All while smiling. By the end of that mission, he was a member of the 300 Mile High Club many times over, I can tell you. It's not all ballroom dance with Aleksey. Oh, and he want he really wants to do is direct. /Reminds me of a guy I worked with in a small testing lab. He said one time when he was gone for two days that he had taken the Concorde to Europe for a job interview (He probably made 20K/yr.). I once heard him remark to a client that he couldn't work Saturday "because he had to go to the [university] library to do research on a new [drug] pathway." (We didn't do anything even close to drug discovery.) One day he came in early and left saying he had to take his wife to the airport. Turns out he was down the road at another lab being introduced as the new supervisor. He was trying to work two jobs at once. He did the same thing to that company but within the company. He told the NC facility he was working in SC and he told the SC facility he was working at the NC facility.
