Johnston County Schools and Carolina Pottery Honor Employee of the Month Susan Alibrandi Is District's February Employee of the Month SMITHFIELD*Susan Alibrandi, Receptionist/Bookkeeper at River Dell Elementary has been named Johnston County Schools' Employee of the Month for February. "Ms. Alibrandi is a stellar employee exemplifying competent organization skills with the highest degree of excellence as our receptionist. Her communication skills, both written and verbal, are extremely clear and concise. She endeavors to meet the needs of all students, staff, parents, and visitors," said Bridgette Spaulding, Principal at River Dell. The nomination further states, "The word multi-tasking has her portrait in Webster's dictionary! She is amazing in her ability to accomplish many tasks with her warmth and kindness! Diversity and multiculturalism are action words evident as she gives equal attention to everyone. She displays professionalism, excellent character and is a team player. She collaborates to make a positive difference in Johnston County Schools and the community." In partnership with Carolina Pottery, Johnston County Schools salutes Alibrandi for: * Demonstrating excellence on the job * Exhibiting a "teamwork" attitude * Making a significant contribution to the school, school district, employees, students and/or the community * Enthusiastically supporting the mission of Johnston County Schools Alibrandi was recognized at the February Board of Education meeting. She received a balloon bouquet, a $50 gift certificate from Carolina Pottery, and an appreciation certificate from Johnston County Schools. Her photo will be displayed at her school as well as in the Human Resources department at Central Services.
