I had to share this with you: the movie was very EXTREMELY funny!!!!! My son and I saw it last night and boy, our stomach are hurting right now from laughing too hard! If you haven't see it, go see it. I was surprised to learn that Justin Long (a young Mac computer guy for TV commerical and Drew Barrymore's boyfriend) use voice-over for Alvin character.
Really? It was funny? I was debating on seeing it or not, I didnt think it would be funny at all. Thanks for sharing, now I will definately have to see it!
What about for a 3 year old? My dd loves the previews on the TV but I figure that it has adult humor...am I wrong.
Just took my son to see it today and it was hilarious!!! I didn't think it was going to be that great either after seeing the commercials but we laughed just about the entire movie!!!
As far as adult humor, there are several "breaking the winds" humor kind and several potty jokes. I've enclosed the link below for you to review. It's the website that helps parents to learn about the movie before taking their kids to see it: http://www.parentpreviews.com/movie-reviews/alvin-and-the-chipmunks.shtml Hope this helps. Enjoy!
C6 and I took DD to see it yesterday. Funny throughout. Amazed me that most of the adults, when leaving were singing along on the "I still want a hoola hoop" lyric....and most kids were looking at their parents in a most strange fashion... enjoy.... we're going to checkout the new nick cage treasure movie today...
My wife and I plan on taking our son to see 'Alvin' and he wants to see The Water Horse as well. It opened today.
I think it was pretty darn close remake of the cartoon. If anyone happened to go to White Oak yesterday morning to see it. Yes that was me, the lady with the 2 kids laughing when nobody else laughed.:lol: I was a big A & chips growing up.
