America's Fastest-Growing Suburbs

    Our area did not make the list. I'm guessing it is because the growth her is split amoung many zip codes (Clayton, Willow Spring, Garner, ...)

    #18 Holly Springs North Carolina - 74%
    # 20 Wake Forest North Carolina - 73.2%
    #46 Huntersville North Carolina - 48.7%
    #51 Cornelius North Carolina - 47.2%
    #63 Apex North Carolina - 43.6%

    Seems like I remember about 4-5 years ago, Johnston county was the 2nd fastest growing county in the nation. Anyone else remember a stat like that?

    no, nc, they looked at cities/towns. We're neither.

    Yes, I remember something like that, not sure how long ago. We're still one of the fastest growing counties in the state, don't know about the nation.

    i have looked more and i thought i remebered that we were one of the fastest growing counties, but maybe it was just in the state, or newer facts i can't find.

    I've heard many times that Johnston County is one of the fastest growing in the state, but not sure where that statistic came from either.

    Where can I find the numbers for how much Clayton/Johnston Co has grown in population for, say... a particular number of years?

    Did I word that right?
