Re-selling purebreeds: I don't really give a rats hiney if you paid $1000 for some puppy 6 months ago and now you've decided that he's more than you can handle and you want to get rid of him. What makes you think its okay to ask $800 to re-home him? So you've lost a little money? It's your fault, not the dogs. A decent adoption fee to ensure that he is going to a good home is plenty. Chalk it up to lessons learned.
Agree with ya, Jen. They can give it to a good home or charge a small fee (to cover the vet bills), that's all. Anything else and they're trying to get over...at least IMHO. Frogger
