Did anyone from 40/42 attend the Antiques Roadshow in Raleigh this weekend? Was looking at slideshow on Wraltv.com and can't wait until the program airs. I was working so didn't go & also didn't have tickets. I know it will be a thrill for the ones that went to see theirselves on tv. Also it is a very interesting show.

I went with a friend. It was a lot of fun to see all the different items being brought in. I brought a piece of blue carnival glass just to see if it was worth anything and was pleasantly surprised to hear that it was worth $75. The appraiser told me it was from the early 1940s which was unusual and that it was worth that much because it was blue. Apparently that's rare.

  5. I was selected for tickets but gave them to my dad for Father's Day. They had an awesome time. I can't wait to see it on TV, too. I hope I see my parents on there!
