When you find one, make sure they come with a great reputation. When my grandmother died we had someone appraise all her furniture in advance of a sale. We knew nothing about antiques or the worth of any of it. She appraised it low, then sent someone back during our sale and bought all of it herself for her shop! (We found out later.) This was back in Iowa, so no bad blood about anyone around here.
