I have been watching it for the last few seasons..just wondering if anyone else watches and what is your take on it? Who are your favorites?
I watch it and I am so inspired by those folks. They look great. I think my favorite this season is Pauls ex-wife and Dan. I do not like Dan's mom but he is cool. I was pulling for Trent before he got eliminated. It just amazes me how much weight they can lose in one week . . 24 lbs., 16 lbs., etc. I just don't see how they do it. Who are you pulling for?
They work out 6 hours a day is one of the reasons for the fast drop in weight. Of course they don't show that part, just the last chance workout. I have started to favor Dan as well. I like Kelly and I do want her to Win, but I see that every season it's always the guys winning and I'm tired of seeing it. I want a girl to win..but that is so hard when men lose it much easier then women. Now I would love to see Mark voted off, cause I can't stand his additude towards the other players, even his brother Jay. Sheri
Love the show! I would like to see Brittany win! And yes wish they would vote off Mark. I think Dan can do it at home b/c his mother is being successful at home and she will help him.
oh yeah I like brittany as well, very pretty girl..she doesn't throw the big numbers and she is going to need them. She wasn't a big big girl anyways. Now I tell you one of my best shows is when Bernie stuck all those choc on his face..I laughed so hard when I saw that. As far as Dan going home, I would like to see him stay just to stick it to Mark hehe.. Sheri
Bernie and the chocolates - OMG too funny! I was very disappointed in Pauls g/f and family when they went home and Rogers wife was sooooooo supported. I can't wait to the finale to see them all! The 2 brothers last season looked good at the finale.
Oh yeah the finals it's so hard to believe when you see some of them..most of the time I can't even tell if it's the same person. It's unreal of the differance. Your right about Pauls family, there was no support there at all. Sheri
I agree that Paul will likely have a rough go of it at home. Shoot, they were handing him platters of chicken wings knowing that is his weakness. Do hope they come around and see how important this is. The #'s are crazy. How do these people get off work for 3 to 4 months? That part is what I don't understand. All the reality shows. I would have never been able to get time off work. Any of you up to starting a Biggest Loser 4042 club??? I need some incentive. Maybe we could walk the parks something like that. Just throwing it out there in case someone else on this board needs to lose some pounds as well. Of course, if I weren't typing right now and out exercising I wouldn't have that problem--LOL. I'd be interested in a motivational "Biggest Loser" club...I have the book and have been doing the workouts for 2 weeks now. I'm really trying with the food, but it's challenging. I'd already lost 13 pounds doing low carb, but haven't lost anything else. My clothes are fitting differently, in a good way, so the exercising must be doing something that the scale doesn't show!
I LOVE the biggest loser! Watch it every week. The only thing I don't like about Kelly is how much she cries. They haven't even finished weigh in and she is already balling! It is starting to get on my nerves. I like Dan and Roger and Brittney. I would love to start a club here!
Your right about Paul's family and the stuff they were eating..but you know Bernies friends did the same to him, what were they thinking taking him to the bakery!! I don't know how they take off the time to do it, I too couldn't have taken time off to do it. I would love to start something like the Biggest Loser Club, glad I started the thread..hehe I just don't know where to start, cause here at my house there is no where for me to walk or nothing. Plus I love lifting weights, but can't afford a gym membership which I wish I could. Any thoughts out there? Sheri
Of course if your lifting weights then yes you will see a differance in your clothes, but no much on the scale..keep up the good work your doing good. Me I got to think of something. Sheri

Okay, let's brainstorm and come up w/ some ideas. I live in Southills...and I stress HILLS. This provides great exercise. We could meet up in different subdivsions or at Amelia Church Park(walk around it 3X is a mile) or Benson Park. Do a different meeting place each week so it's not so monotanous(can't spell--LOL). I think what we should do is first hold a meeting and discuss what exactly we want to do. Obviously, we all want to lose weight. Also, remember that muscle weighs more than fat. So, you may not see much change in the scale #'s after awhile. We need to each get a program going. I think seeing each other and meeting and discussing everything once a week will help us all stick to our programs at home. I NEED to get back into shape. BTW, my degree in college was health & fitness specialist. I'm so ashamed now it's pathetic. So I am SO ready for a spring change! By the end of the season, you all can come over and we'll have a pool party in actual suits we're not embarrassed in. I'm totally motivated now but need to stay that way. So, anyone up for a meeting to kick things off? I can easily seat many people at my home. Don't mind. I think it should be a brief meeting, get to know each other and then maybe off for a walk to kick things off for the 4042 Biggest Loser Club. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up here next week. I'm actually open all of this coming week. What's a good time for everyone? Mornings, Evenings? Time change I think is happening the 21st of March or something like that so it will be lighter later as well. Just brainstorming. Anyone want to run w/ this? I would love to do something like this. I so desperately need to lose weight for health reasons. I've started eating better this last week and I can actually tell that I feel better. I can't do anything but evenings (after 6:00) during the week, but I am wide open on the weekends. Add me to your list!
Ok, I would love to do this, BUT..I work most weeks 6 days and sometimes 7 days a week..so time for me is going to have to be on a weekly basis..sorry. My hours are differant every week. It's the best I can do. If you guys want to exchange personal email addresses and go from there PM me and we can get this together..or we can do this here..what ever works for everyone. I don't even own a scale..but I know I'm over weight and I don't need a scale to tell me that lol. Just let me know what is going on..oh and where I go my daughter goes. Sheri
