Any recommendations for a Myrtle Beach rental?

Just found out we have some folks coming in from out of state. We want to get a rental home/condo (btw- which one is cheaper?) at Myrtle Beach (North or Myrtle, either one).

Problem is, they are coming around the Fourth of July.

Anyone have any suggestions for a rental company they used in the past? Or know of anyone who has a beach house/condo for rent?

Does not have to be for a full week, a couple of day is fine. Want to keep the price range around $1000-1500 if possible.

    Thanks! :)

Good Luck trying to find one for just a couple of days during that time frame, most only do weekly rentals.

Google Myrtle Beach rentals, and you'll come up with a ton of places....

Sorry, we don't do MB, just OBX's....and we always rent for a week in the summer. The houses are expensive, but we usually go with another family, so that huge house cost us about 1,800 for a week.

Anyway, if interested, we use Hatteras Realty http://www.hatterasrealty.com/index.htm

I wouldnt mind OBX, maybe I'll talk them into that one. ;)

Thank for the link, I'm saving it in case they change their mind! :)

I agree with SB on that....MB is rotted and OBX is so much more beautiful and not nearly as commercialized.

Any Children in the group? If so this is on the beach and they have LOTS of fun water games and so on to do.... it is called Beach Colony but it is like a small highrise group of condos and they have 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom condos! This is where we stayed alot when I was in my 20's and late teens but they have renovated! LOL (and I am only 31)

    Tip:

Its crowded as heck down ther at 4th of july.

Check out Brunswick Plantation its on the web its in sunset beach nc, on HWy17, straight shot in to MB on the north end where the good stuff is anyway. You can stay in NC where its a bit cheaper geta condo there, also some golf courses onsite, but then you can drive into Myrtle down 17 in about 15 minutes, coming in from that direction you can get the good restaurants and entertainment and miss the traffic.

PS the condos arent bad at brunswick

Since July 4th will fall on Friday, does this mean the firework display at Myrtle Beach will be on Friday or Saturday? Where exactly the display going to be seen at? Just curious.

I can tell you about a resort we stay at often, but it's not a condo, nor is it a rental home. (In Myrtle) It's a very nice place and GREAT place ofr the kids. The resort has its own waterpark ON-SITE, its own convenience store, indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis, arcades, restaurants....all ON-SITE. They have rooms that sleep up to 10-15 people. They have been working on condos to add to their line-up, so you can check with them. Their website is http://seamist.com

Their address is 1200 South Ocean Blvd.
    Phone is 1-800-SEA-MIST

This is a 16 acre location...right on the beach.
