If so, is it worth the trip/money?

Opens to the Public on SAT after a LONG LONG time. was closed after on hurricane- forgot which one.
The news shots of the walk were from the Members Only preview.

We 3 plan to go in a few weeks when it's cooler.

I did but it was like millions of years ago so I don't remember much about it.

Well we definetly won't be going this weekend then. Thanks! We'll probably check it out once the crowds won't be bad.

My in-laws are members so they got to go before it opens to the public. They brought two of the kids and said it's absolutely wonderful! They highly recommend everyone to go see it! The dino that was broken was to be fixed before it is open to the public.

Ok I am different. I am a member and got to go see it 'a head of time'.... it was lame. They have one big dinosaur you can touch and climb on and then a small loop trail that had a few dinosaurs in the woods to look at. Maybe 6 all together?? There is going to be a fossil dig, but that wasnt open yet. (then why invite guests?) I think there may be a few more dino's coming....

A friend and I both went with our 4 year olds and it took all of 8 minutes. Maybe our boys are just not INTO dinosaurs?? But I was disappointed. Just my 2 cents.

I remember when we went on a trip to that in 4th grade (i think) and it was kinda lame then... the dinosaurs are more art than they are dinosaur IIRC.

This was what I was afraid of. Especially to drive and then pay the money to have my 4 year old lose interest in 5 minutes. I'll have to see what more folks say after this weekend, but I'm glad to hear this perspective as well.

on a whole it is kind of expesive, but a very good museum. My 8 year old has loved it since he was 4, and still would go every other weekend. the hands on stuff is very cool.
