Hi, I managed to get a tiny kitten, less than 5 days old. I would love to find a nursing mom with kittens about this age to put him/her with. I will even keep them here if needed!! Anyone? (I know, I work for an animal shelter and cant find a nursing mom! What the heck??)
thanks frame and kdc. She was tiny, still had umbilical cord up until Friday. Yesterday her lungs starting popping so I think she had pneumonia. Poor thing. My kids are so upset, I hate that I keep doing this to them.
so sorry to hear that ljk.... thats got to be one of the hardest parts of the wonderful work you do to help animals :cry:
oh no, I just saw this and I was going to tell you my sister has a couple momma's feeding babies, but they are a couple of weeks older then the one you had. I hate that this has happend to you! :grouphug: sheri
hey sheri, i know you have probably posted this somewhere but i am lazy, what kind of dog is that in your avatar?? ljk, so sorry, poor little baby, we rescued one one time about that age and luckily i was able to get her to take a bottle, she grew up strong and healthy and i found her a wonderful forever home.
