I am looking for a new doctor, and was curious if anyone here had any experience with Garner Family Practice? I am fed up with my current doctor whom I have had to call 3-4 times just to get a refill. Just curious what others experiences people have had at Garner Family, or if you have another doctor to recommend. Thanks!
I go there and I just cannot say enough good things about Dr. Greg Pleasants. He is the bestest! The only doctor I would NOT recommend at that practice is Johnny Bagwell. He nearly killed my aunt by prescribing the wrong medicine to her one time.
I've been going there for over 20 years and I really like most of the Drs there. I've seen Crumpler (he's my main doctor), Spivey, Bagwell and Brammer. I do NOT like Dr. Brammer. The other 3 I really like. My DH goes to Dr. Pleasants and really likes him. Bren
Garner Family Phys has been my doctor for over 20yrs ... Dr Crumpler is Wonderful. I'ts been awhile since I've seen any others in that practice as I always try to get in with Dr. C.
no that is an urgent care place I my main Dr is Dr. Bagwell LOVE HIM!!!! I also see Tina Scott alot too! I have to agree about Dr. Brammer, had to see him once and he was awful. I went in with a 102 temp couldnt breathe ( I have asthma ) and he sent me home with nothing!!! Needless to say later that night I was in the ER!
Mrs Scott fixed ole Redneck's foot the other week. Not sure what she did but I haven't even had to swallow not one of them pain pills since I left the office.
I too have gone there for 20+ years. Just need to remember.. unless something has changed over the past year or two the doctors do not have hospital privileges. I don't know if that matters or not, but otherwise a great group of drs..
I used to go there, and although I really liked Dr Pleasants, I couldn't handle the wait times anymore. They can be very slow at getting you to the exam room.
I just saw him last Friday and I got a call today that I have to go back in next Tuesday. Some of the numbers from my blood work are sky high, including my A1C (diabetes related). It ain't looking good for me . . .
