Does anyone here know anything about 4-H in our area? Does anyone have any suggestions for a child who would like to be involved in working with animals, but whose parents don't own a farm?
What do you have in mind? Most 4-H clubs work primarily with one specific animal, although there may be a few that do mulitple animals.(horses, rabbits, cattle, etc.) What types of activities are they most intrerested in learning about? I run a program for kids who are interested in working with horses but do not own them. (Its not riding lessons, but learning to work around the farm and work with them) If I know what your child is interested in, I can steer you in that direction. Good luck!
