Found a male chihuahua today playing on the highway by Papa John's on 42 (down past the DMV by the bowling alley). Closest crossroad is Wexford. He seems friendly. Don't know how old he is. He does not have a collar or a microchip. I already have two dogs, so I cannot keep him if his owner is not found. If he's not yours but you'd be interested in adopting him, please let me know. I will call the JC shelter and animal control, but if his owner does not come forward in a week or so, he's all yours! Thanks! Jackie
Animal Control advised me not to release EVERY bit of info because there are a lot of people who will claim him and just sell him on Craigs List. I'll PM you.
Good news! His owner has been found. She connected with me via the JC SPCA. I am sad to see him go - he fit in here so effortlessly - but happy that he is back with his real family.
