I was watching a Haan infomercial this morning and the Haan Steam Mop looked very interesting. Are any of you currently using a steam mop? If so, which one do you recommend.

I have one, and I really like it. It is a Euroflex Monster. Cost around $100, I can't remember exactly how much. I have mostly wood floors, and I usually use it every other time I mop. The floors get super clean. With the dogs in the house, it makes me feel better! It holds just enough water to do the main floor of our house. The pad comes off and I just throw it in the washing machine. No chemicals, just steam. I'll stop before I start sounding like the informercial you're watching!

    +1 on the SHARK!

    Simple, HOT, fast and easy.
Nothing else to buy or do.
Use it on the bathroom floors & the man zone of the toilet....
(Mom's you know what I mean!)

I wash the pads w/ the dog (not God! or Good) towels.

I never liked to MOP- always thought I was just moving the dirt around in a thiner layer. Nasty!

I am totally sold on the steam mops. I bought the Euroflex cuz it's bigger and I'm always in a hurry. Got just as good online reviews as the Shark. Even did the "wet paper towel test." You know, mop a wood floor and then wet a white paper towel a wipe a spot you already cleaned. Mine was always still dirty after Swiffer or sponge mop. Not so with the steam! Clean clean clean!

I swear I'm not getting commission, but I should be! :)

I went to a customers home the other day and the lady was using a Shark Steam Mop and it was awesome. It was lifting dirt like no tomorrow. I thought it was pretty cool.

This sounds like something I'd like to try. Where did everybody get theirs?

Ironically my niece and I were talking about these things yesterday. She borrows her best friend's all the time (niece has a carpet cleaner and her BF has the other and the swap). She loves it!!

You can buy the Shark just about anywhere. I got mine at Kohls, I've seen them at Target, Walmart, etc.

My sister got one and she returned it, said it was the worst floor cleaner she has ever had. I was very interested in one cause I have dogs and hardwood floors..she told me not to get one.
I'm glad to see some of you like yours.

I have 2 cats and a dog, and the thing I like most is that there are NO chemicals involved. The floor is clean enough to eat off of when you get done, not that I would, LOL. My kitchen and bathroom floors are white (I mean WHITE), I'd know it if it didn't work well.

So it works well with getting ALL the cat hair??? How is there no chemicals?

I vacuum really well first, then use the steam mop. It's literally just steam. You pour the water into the machine and the steam comes out through the pad on the bottom, at least on my Shark. The pad is just cotton toweling held on by velcro. When you are done, you throw it in the washer and re-use. Much easier than mopping with a bucket, and it dries almost instantly. No soap residue, no cleaning chemicals, no nothing. I like it well enough that I may upgrade to one of the higher end ones out there.

I just checked at Target online, they have it in both the White Oak store and the Timber Drive store. I think I'm gonna go get me one today!
