I rescued him from the shelter, and have tried my best... but I am not a snake person. Inever take him out and I am afraid he will be come grumpy. I just didn't want him to be put down... He is 4-5 foot long, eats large rats.....
As far as my unexperienced self can tell. He happily eats his rat (once a week), and sort of lounges around his tank all day.
Ummm, I was seriously considering, but I don't have space for a snake this size. They get to be 10 to 12 feet long and need a cage about 6 x 3 x 3 feet according to one website I researched. They are beautiful, though. Good luck, I hope you find a home for him. I will ask some of the herp-loving kids I know.
