I have a litter of 4 bottle feeders and I am looking to place them in foster. All my normal foster space is full, but I can get you approved as a foster person in the blink of an eye. They are very cute, but need lots of love and care... then they will go up for adoption when bigger.

    Anyone?

Never mind, I found someone thank you!! If anyone wanted to become a foster person anyway, let me know!

Edited to add-- they were found tape in a box, thrown in a dumpster... how sad.

Thats terrible! I know not too long ago myself and a girl I work with took turns foster parenting two 2wk old kittens. They were alot of work, but worth every bit! The best part was they were placed together... they just loved each other!

When you foster you dont have to keep them, correct? I would foster in a min. but they have to go when they get older. How does one sign up?

Yes, you are caring for animals that belong to where I work. So at anytime for any reason you can back out, and bring them back.

The way it works is you fill out a foster application, I explain the program to you etc... then I call you when they type of animal you are looking to foster comes available. (Some people do only kittens, some do only small dogs, some mix it up a bit.) They stay with you until they are big enough to be spayed or neutered, just 2-3 weeks normally. Unless they are tiny bottle feeders. Then we arrange for them to have spay/neuter surgery and go up for adoption. You drop them off for surgery and say good bye and you are done.

    We provide medical, food etc..

Let me know if you are interested and I can email you an application!
