i am needing a 17' square section of my back yard leveled. i already have it marked off. my back yard has a slope down and away from the house. the deepest part is 17" at one end and ground lever at the other. if needed i can try to get some pics. does anyone know anyone with a skid steer or backhoe that could dig this for me? it is going to take longer to unload the machine from the trailor than it will to dig what i need dug. email me for more info, i would like to get this done soon. thanks!
I also need to borrow one. To level a ditch that is eroding away. we put up the rr ties as a wall and draping it with wild roses. I wish there were someplace that rented one for just a couple of hours. Let me know what you find out WS, if you dont mind. thanks
Sunbelt rentals rents skid steers out.. they are not hard to drive and it tells you on the little stickers what does what.. anybody can drive one but it takes lots of practice to be precise.. soo i would only suggest renting one if you dont mind having a 17'5" area or a 18' or anything but 17' then go for it but if u need exactly 17' then find someone to run it for you
sunbelt rentals is more expensive than hertz. i called the hertz on 70 in clayton and for a skid steer its 165 bones per day, delivery is 75 bones each way ( total 150 ) you get 8 hours of use. you must fill it back up when you are done and hose it off if its gets dirty. so about 350 bones after tax is what it is looking like.
