Well this has to be one of the most un-advertised events!! I just found out about it. All appliances like washers, fridges, etc. are tax-free this weekend. on that note, I am curious - Have been reading about washers and dryers and obviously the craze now is front loaders but I have read quite a few things that say the majority are aggressivley loud due to the way the work. Anyone got any input?

I have a front load washing machine and dryer and I love them. One thing the sales person at Lowes told me was that if you put them on the stand it makes them sound louder, he said several people who had bought the stand ended up returning them. I didn't buy them and I'm glad I didn't. But I absolutly love mine!
neighbor has a front load washer and dryer, and their laundry room is right off the ktichen, and we can go over and sit and play cards at the kitchen table, you would never know their washing was running till it buzzed letting you know the cycle was done. Craig
