Hi all! Advice, please...I am interested in getting floor plans made of my 20 year old home, and contacting the builder is not an option. The end-goal is to have a working document of possible modifications and upgrades from which to plan based on a price range for each upgrade. I am trying to prioritize upgrades and/or structural changes, and I don't have a clue where to start. Question 1: What profession is that???? Question 2: Any referrals? Thanks everyone!
For architects, I can recommend two for you to check out: D&L Design Group http://dldesigngroup.com/ Tony Johnson http://tonyjohnsonarchitect.com/ Both local, very experienced and nice folks to work with. 8)
http://bparaleigh.com/ Bret Page did my design work for my garage, he has a partner that is a structural engineer as well. Very happy with them.
I hired Larry Massengill to draw up plans for my second floor addition and he did great work for cheap and knows all the folks in the inspections and zoning department in JoCo which is very helpful. He's in downtown Benson. Massengill and Associates 116 E Main St, Benson, NC 27504 (919) 894-2071
