 I need to buy some sports oriented gifts tomorrow by 3pm. (college football & basket ball) Any suggestions for local businesses? Prefferably close by?! Please, please! And thank you Yes. I did look in the business list thingy - there are WAY too many to search through and none of them start with "Sports" lol
I know there is a speciality store in Triangle Town Center that carries nothing but sports stuff. It's on the upper level across from Sears. Craig
Turn Two Collectibles at the shopping center on then corner of Brentwood and Capital Blvd. (Not far off the beltline) I've bought stuff there before. 954-1141
Yup. That was my first idea ... There is also a place called "The Hat Shack". Shoo.... If all else fails, there is always "Spencers"
Sounds like a good place to go .... but I'm not really familiar too much with driving in Raleigh. LOL I know how to get to Mallinckrodt the back. ...uh... going the back way, of course LOL
I hate Dix. I used to think it was great until I paid $30 for a pair of shorts - that didn't fit DH and when he returned them they only gave him a $12 credit.    Where's that pack of matches when ya need 'em?! j/k ... kinda
I actually take the Brentwood Road exit off 440 (forget some do not know it as the Beltline). It brings you in the back way. Right before you get to the light where it crosses Brentwood it will be in the shopping center on your left. I'd call before going as some folks are taking today off.
Not my side of the intersection but it is on 1010 in Cleveland School area. It is the place with batting cages. Hours are spotty and with the personal tragedy I don't know what the hours are.
sorry...i'm out of the loop on most of what you said there....so, 1010 near cleveland school, eh? is it in a shopping center, or is it near anything else?
I believe these are their summer hours. Call before driving over there. Sluggers. 9180 Cleveland School Rd. (Hwy 1010) Clayton, NC 27520. 919-989-3000. Open: Mon-Fri 3pm-9pm, Sat 9am-9pm, Sun 1pm- 7pm ...
Closer to DR Well's emporium, been a while since I was in the store but most of the memorabilia was baseball related.
Too bad you did not start early and use E-bay. They have special section. All kinds of items. If you can't buy it locally, buy it on e-bay and give the recipient a photo and tell them it's in the mail.
