Wear your fun costumes and bring your stuffies. Our bears will be there. Bring your own cushion or sit-upon or blanket. Linda will lead the first story time at the Cleveland Library at 40/42, 10-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2008. Suggestions welcome for weekly events.

We are happy to provide the opportunity to have adults or youth take turns sharing stories with other members of our community. Short family skits are welcome. Audience participation is welcome.

We are looking for volunteers to develop this program and adventurous families to particiate in it. Possibility thinkers are desired.

7,000 books and videos are available for a 2-week checkout. Families may check out 10 items at a time.

Dress appropriately for the weather. - Ron More info at: http://4042needs.org/library/index.html

7,000 books are a start and more than Cleveland Twp. had since its start in 1913!

All our books and videos have been donated and we are expecting to have 10-13,000 in stock by Christmas. Lawrence built us the existing book shelves in 2003-2004. We've stocked books for over 5 years and given thousands to local schools and prisons. We simply need more volunteers to move faster. Karen is supervising the categories, layout, and shelving. Until we get volunteers to sort and move the truck load of disaster assistance out of the way, we can't add much more shelving for housewares or books. There are 500-1,000 books labeled, but still in stacks of boxes, waiting for shelving. We are looking for someone to knock together some peculiar size pine shelves to hold another 500 books. To pay the rent, we will be selling some of the books, which also makes us the largest used book store in Cleveland Township. OK, we accept cash donation also.

Our facility is definitely a little primitive and experiential, but we got a lot going on that benefits the community. http://4042needs.org/library/index.html
