    Programs scheduled during April are as follows:

    April 6, 2005—Doug Berky will perform at Selma Middle School on April 6, 2005 at 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM. The presentation will be a performance with a variety of mime, masks, puppetry and storytelling.

    April 7, 2005—The African-American Dance Ensemble will perform at Wilson's Mills Elementary School on April 7, 2005 at 1:45 PM. The African-American Dance Ensemble shares the finest traditions of Africa and African-American dance and music through education and entertainment.

    April 8, 2005—The African American Dance Ensemble will perform at South Campus Community School on April 8, 2005 at 1:15 PM. The African-American Dance Ensemble shares the finest traditions of Africa and African-American dance and music through education and entertainment.

    April 11, 2005—The Arithmetickles will perform at Benson Elementary School on April 11, 2005 at 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. The performance will include fast-paced and entertaining skits based on the elementary math curriculum.

    April 12, 2005—The Arithmetickles will perform at Glendale-Kenly Elementary School on April 12, 2005 at 12:45 PM and 2:00 PM. The performance will include fast-paced and entertaining skits based on the elementary math curriculum.

    April 12, 2005—Moscow Nights will perform at Clayton Middle School on April 12, 2005 at 1:30 PM. Moscow Nights offers audiences an entertaining and authentic glimpse into Old Russia through music, song, and dance.

    April 15, 2005—The Carlota Santana Dance Co. will perform at Four Oaks Elementary School on April 15, 2005 at 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 1:15 PM. During the performance, professional artists in traditional costume will open students' eyes to the world of traditional Spanish dance and its origin in southern Spain.
    April 15, 2005—The Carlota Santana Spanish Dance Co. will perform at Four Oaks Middle School on April 15, 2005 at 10:30 AM. During the performance, professional artists in traditional costume will open students' eyes to the world of traditional Spanish dance and its origins in southern Spain.

    April 15, 2005—Elise Witt & Beverly Botsford will perform at McGee's Crossroads Elem. School on April 15, 2005 at 9:15 AM. Join international vocalist Elise Witt and cross-cultural percussionist Beverly Botsford on a Bi-Lingual artsploration exploring the Spanish language and the contagious rhythms of Latin America, Spain, and the Caribbean.

    April 15, 2005—Mad Science will perform at West Clayton Elementary School on April 15, 2005 at 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, and 12:00 PM. Mad Science will present an interactive program of amazing science and unbelievable feats of science and nature.

    April 19, 2005—Doug Berky will perform at Riverwood Middle School on April 19, 2005 at 1:30 PM. Doug Berky’s performance includes a variety of mime, masks, puppetry and storytelling.

    April 19, 2005—The Carnavalito Latin Music Group will perform at South Johnston High School on April 19, 2005 at 1:00 PM. Carnavalito exposes its audience to a variety of Latin music of various styles. They include background on cultures, history and language in their program and involve the audience and incorporate discussion.

    April 20, 2005—Lee Bryan will perform at Riverwood Elementary School on April 20, 2005 at 8:50 AM and 9:50 AM. Lee Bryan will perform original songs, magic tricks, and puppets to deliver an environmental message in this unique vaudeville revue.

    April 25, 2005—The Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble will perform at East Clayton Elementary School on April 25, 2005 at 8:30 am & 9:30 am. In this performance, three dancers and one musician demonstrate the diversity and multi-cultural origins of percussive dance forms that developed in North America.

    *Please ask the public to call the school to confirm the date and time of the performance and to request permission to attend if they are interested in a performances.
