I have a auto set clock radio. At 2:00am tomorrow the clock drops back 1 hour. Will my clock radio (digital) reset itself at 2:00am? I have to get up very early and need the alarm to be accurate. I do not have the instructions booklet. How do these automic time clocks work?

Do you have a cell phone? They have call alarms and events you can set, I have used mine before when I thought the power might go out.

Magic! I swear! It's magic! mmm satellite? I dunno. .... I wish all my clocks were automatic... I have one. AND! It's the only one (clock radio) that picks up crap for radio stations?! Wonder if there's a connection?

Typically it is hardwired right into the clock, although it depends on when you bought your clock. Mine are all pre change - It is all Bush's fault damn him!!!!

my clock radio automatically "fell back" one hour sometime between 10:30 pm and 6:00 AM. this is amazing. I have one of those atomic clock radios.

My atomic clock alarm did NOT reset itself, and woke me up an hour early. I guess that's better than an hour late, though...

Those atomic clocks have to pick up a signal from somewhere. When I was working in Wilson, I bought one for the office, and there was no place in that office that it would pick up the signal, so the "atomic" feature was worthless. It just worked like a regular clock.

My son has one of these clocks. But because they didn't do the time change at the same time this year, his clock changed a week ago ! Guess it will be one week early every year now.
    Thanks Bush

I set the alarm clock for 6:00am (ugh, Sunday morning) and went to bed as usual. I woke up about 3:15am (EST) looked at the clock and that amazing clock radio had "lost" the hour. Went back to sleep and it went off at 6:00am (EST).
