How does one go about resetting the date and time on a computer? I know it can be done but I do not remember how.
I tried to delete a user/administrator from a recycled computer and add another administrator but I didn't do something correctly because now no one can sign on.
So, what I would like to do is undo what was done last night and take everything back to the way it was at 4 pm yesterday.
    help??!!!

date will not effect what you changed... you need to find some login account with permissions to edit permissions. Hopefully you can use the PCs Administrator account. if you cannot do that, either reinstall windows (if its a recycled computer that should be no big deal) or if information preservation is important to you i'm sure someone can provide a link to a windows password reset program. i dont have any off the top of my head unfortunately.

safemode won't escape login information AFAIK, really if you've lost permissions to the computer (i'm assuming win2k/XP) you have no way in other than doing the hacker reset.
