bald eagle

    I've got a baby eagle at my house today. This one is about half the size of the other two I've seen here.

    I was on NC 751 coming from Streets of South point cutting over towards Holly Springs (a week ago) . As I went by Jordan Lake 1 large Bald Eagle flew right across the road in front of me, then i saw 2 more in trees nearby. Very cool.

    When we were canoeing on the Neuse several years ago, just as we went under 540 in North Raleigh, one was on the bank eating a fish. he flew off when we got close.
