I live on ---- Rd now I call it Barking Dog Rd, because people put their dogs out and let them bark at all hours. One poor dog is tied near a hedge row, behind a $500,000.00 house, with big deck huge in ground pool with no water and no house to get in side of. Today he barked non stop from 7:55 am untill 6m. What are these people thinking?? If you have a dog and you love it, you do not tie it up and let it bark all the time.Others let their dogs start barking at 4am. Dogs are pack animals, and they want to be with their owners and included with the family. It is very cruel. These people seem to have everything they want, except a happy dog, and happy neighbors.
My neighbor's dogs are driving me crazy. They are put out on the deck all day. Their owner leaves for work very early. They then bark for hours.. take a short break...and start again until he comes home. If he goes out at night, they bark the whole time he is gone. They are big labs-they have a loud bark. I have spoken to him-he will not believe that it is his dogs barking. I'm right next door-it's definitely his dogs. The dogs just don't deal well with being left on a deck all day. One often escapes and wanders for hours-at least he stops barking then. I asked him to leave them in the house. He told me they destoy the house. Why do people get dogs if they don't want to train them to be good members of the family?
Wonder what we can do? In your case I would make a tape recording and let him listen to it. In my case there are many dogs all barking all the time, the one I mentioned is one that I can see directly and know that it is in distress. People are so thoughtless and don't care about others or their pets.
