It's been years since I have had to change out a PC battery. My PC gives me an error on boot up that I need to replace the battery. Thing is I have no idea where to buy the battery from. All the computer stores I would of gone to are closed or online

Like a CR2032 motherboard battery? They sell those at Walmart for about $2 for a 2-pack. They sell them just about anywhere, CVS, Walgreens, etc.

    Or like a laptop battery?

Yea it's been a long long time since I have had to replace a CMOS battery. I'll just have to check the mfg guide to see which battery. I know there are several times of those lithium batteries

It should be this, pretty standard and can be found almost anywhere that sells batteries. Lowes, Walmart, Food Lion, CVS, etc.
