Don't know if this is allowed, so mods, please remove if needed.

Reins from Above will be holding a BBQ plate sale at the Kro's Nest(in the parking lot) on Friday, Feb 16. 11 am-7 pm

Reins from Above is a therapeutic riding organization that works with disabled children.

Plates are $7 each, and orders of 10 or more will be delivered, (to a certain limited area, I'm sure.) Call 938-1556 for tickets.

Yes they have.. they've found someone who is going to let them use some farm land for the life of the program. It's about 13 miles out 42East.. they just need to raise money to build a barns, buildings and an arena.

They also have a Bingo night coming up, and then in March there is also supposed to be a dinner/dance night at the JoCo Ag. Building on 210, I think that one is $50/couple.

If anyone has any ideas for fundraisers or would like to help out, check out their webpage and contact Stacy Ryder.

What a beautiful little girl.... how sad. Once the kids reach a year or so, I let my guard down and feel safe. I cant imagine....

She had been battling leukemia for almost 2 years, about half of her life. Here is her caringbridge webpage http://www.caringbridge.org/nc/maci/

If anyone feels led to help this family with the enormous medical bills they have (+ funeral expenses) the information is listed on her caringbridge page.

Oh Ready  . Those poor parents!

If you feel like it, grab some lunch before. I'll be over there right at the regular lunch hour...
