I have had it 4 times each time was on the right side of my face. Doctors will give you steroids to treat it, however hopefully you caught it in the early stages, sometimes you can have a permanent paralysis. Good luck to you. It is frustrating that they do not know what exactly causes it. I never went out of my house until it was cleared up. I still have some residual effects from it. I have a lazy eye and sometimes my face will draw up but it goes away quickly.
Thanks. I have been on heavy steriods and anit viral meds.....I have read horroe stories about people not recovering from it.
