    Benson Middle to Host Nationally Reknowned Storyteller

    Benson Middle School will host storyteller Dylan Pritchett from Williamsburg, Virginia on Friday, February 13. He will perform for the fifth and sixth grade classes and all self-contained classes from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and again for seventh and eighth grade students from 10:35 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.

    He will also visit Shelly Cook's sixth grade communications class from 1:10 to 2:10 p.m. Pritchett is one of a handful of artists selected to participate in the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Partners in Education national touring program. His performance includes African and African-American stories, riddles, games, music and constant audience participation.
