My daughter brought home a flyer with information about Cheerleading classes through Champion Youth Outreach. The classes are at Benson Parks and Rec. Has anyone had an experience with this? I wonder if this is a good place to introduce her to cheerleading. My daughter really wants to get into cheerleading, but I don't know anything at all about it or where to start!

If it is the Young Champions group out of Benson (they practice at the parks and rec bldg) I would way yes. They have a good group and usually place well in their competitions. Heck, the level 4 group even went to the Nationals in Vegas last year.

Is that the one that you pay a registration fee AND pay for each class you take?

According to the flyer, it' s $8 to register and then $7 per week after that. That's less than a hundred dollars for almost three months. (June 4 - August 27th) That's not bad compared what I've paid for dance lessons at some places.
