Beside Bojangles

Does anyone know what is going beside Bojangles at 210?

 

Yea they are building a free standing Dollar General. I asked Jimmy over at Big Steve's yesterday.

 

dang!! I was hoping for something really cool.

 

I just today noticed the Dollar General beside of Turner Memorial Baptist Church. I'm behind the times.

 

Isn't there already one right across the road?

Yes, a lot of chains do that including the Coldwell Realestate Agency that was over there. They rent a place in a strip until they can see how well the business does in that location. If they have enough business they will purchase land for a freestanding location. Coldwell is now off of Cleveland Rd. and DG will have their own building beside Bojangles. The problem with all of this is that often times the empty slot in the strip will stay empty for a while and start to become run down. Hopefully, someone will see the potential in this area and move into those empty spaces!
